Ad Operation & Traffic Manager

The Ad Operations & Traffic Manager based in our Oakland, CA office is responsible for providing day-to-day support and service to Pheedo’s suite of advertiser and ad agency clients. This individual will manage and execute all campaign and inventory optimizations and will work closely with our ad sales team and clients on all facets of the advertising campaigns.
 
Responsibilities

  • Manage and traffic advertising campaigns with attention to client expectations and deadlines from insertion order through post campaign reporting
  • Ensure all media requests, insertion orders, campaigns, creative materials, and ad functionality adhere to Pheedo and industry standards
  • Trafficking and uploading ad tags, media links, and custom creative?s (Rich Media, Banners/Display ads, Internal Redirects, Deep Linking, Custom Placements, etc.)
  • Coordinate, set up and test creatives and campaigns to make sure they start on time while providing quality assurance
  • Daily monitoring of campaigns using 3rd party tracking including DART, Atlas, MediaPlex, etc. to make sure each delivers in full and provide suggestions for optimization of campaign results, revenues, and inventory management
  • Project management of custom implementations between sales and tech teams, and client
  • Manage and optimize remnant inventory and 3rd party ad networks
  • Proactively investigate and trouble shoot issues (delivery discrepancies, billing disputes, technical issues, etc.) and provide solutions
  • Create and manage campaign, inventory, yield management and revenue reports for ad sales team, finance, and management
  • Create and analyze post-campaign reports for clients
  • Create campaign billing reports and verify performance and revenue with the sales team and accounting to invoice clients and 3rd party vendors
  • Research emerging digital ad products and provide recommendations to management

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience with ad servers in online advertising and/or ad trafficking
  • Must be proficient using DART, MediaPlex, Atlas and other 3rd party tracking systems
  • Extensive knowledge of ad metrics including; CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, ROI
  • Proven ability to analyze and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI
  • Knowledge of ad exchanges, ad servers, and optimization platforms a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  • Startup experience a plus. Must have easy-going personality, a great work ethic and team player attitude. Viewing emails and being available on the weekend/off hours may be required when time is critical for campaign delivery and optimization.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge of MS office programs and Snag-it and/or Photoshop
  • Experience with HTML, Flash, JavaScript and other ad tagging codes/scripts

Digital Media Sales Director – NYC or SF

Pheedo, Inc., the provider of custom content marketing solutions, seeks an experienced, self-starting digital media sales executive to join its growing team. In this role, you will sell Pheedo’s suite of digital media and content marketing solutions to Fortune 1000 brands and advertising agencies. Positions are available in both the New York City (work from home) and San Francisco Bay Area markets. As a Sales Director you will be counted on to own your assigned territories, driving revenue through both agency and direct sales channels. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital media and emerging digital channels – specifically content marketing and syndication – possesses an active network of decision makers at both clients and agencies, is comfortable working remotely and within a start-up environment and has a track record of exceeding revenue goals.

 
Requirements

  • 5+ years media experience selling digital media solutions to clients and agencies.
  • Established relationships at agencies and direct accounts – at all levels – are a must.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and comfortable presenting in person and via web conference.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage a pipeline and proven ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to following through to completion
  • Extremely proactive. We want business owners, not order takers. Proven ability to own a sales territory is essential.
  • Familiarity with content syndication and RSS feeds a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely and thrive in a startup environment is critical
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

This position reports directly to the SVP of Sales & Strategic Development.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and develop an assigned sales territory. This includes creating and managing a sales plan, meeting revenue targets and communicating progress and pipeline activity to management on a regular basis.
  • Cultivate positive business relationships with media planners and buyers at ad agencies and with decision makers at direct advertisers. Understand their business requirements and effectively communicate Pheedo’s value proposition.
  • Passionately evangelize digital media and content marketing to potential buyers.
  • Present Pheedo’s offerings to decision makers at all levels in-person, as well as via phone and web conference.
  • Effectively navigate through the sales process and move opportunities from inception to closure.
